SDK International Limited is the data controller of personal data collected through the ValuEdge.AI website.

By using ValuEdge.AI, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2) What data we collect​

  • Account & profile: name, email, password, role/title, organisation, sector/expertise, preferences you add.

  • Contact details: business phone, address (if provided).

  • Content you provide: form inputs, messages, uploads, deal or project information.

  • Usage & device: pages viewed, features used, timestamps, IP address, device/OS/browser, approximate location (city/region).

  • Transactional: orders, invoices, payments (card data handled by our payment processor).

  • From third parties: public sources and vendors (e.g., analytics, CRM, data providers) where lawful.

​3) Why we use your data & lawful bases (UK GDPR Art. 6)

Provide the service, generate reports, and manage your account — Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Customer support, service communications, security, fraud prevention, product analytics — Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Marketing communications and non-essential cookies/analytics — Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw any time.

Billing, tax, regulatory compliance — Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Defence of legal claims, business continuity — Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We conduct legitimate-interests assessments to balance our interests against your rights.

4) Automated processing, profiling & AI

We use algorithms and statistical models to analyse financial/operational data and generate valuations and benchmarking. These tools do not produce decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Your choices: you can request explanation of the logic, contest outputs, or ask for human review of material assessments that affect you.

5)  Cookies & similar technologies (PECR)

We use essential cookies for security and core functionality.

Analytics/advertising cookies are non-essential and used only with your consent via our cookie banner. You can change preferences at any time.

See our Cookie Policy (linked in the banner) for a list of cookies, purposes, and lifetimes. We currently don’t respond to Do Not Track signals.

6) Who we share data with (recipients)

  • Processors: cloud hosting, storage, analytics, communications (email/notifications), authentication, payments, document tools, support, logging/security.

  • Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, insurers (as needed).

  • Corporate events: prospective buyers or investors under confidentiality.

  • Authorities: where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
    We require processors to contractually commit to confidentiality, security, and GDPR-compliant processing.

7) International transfers

We primarily store data in the UK/EEA. Where transfers occur outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), EU Standard Contractual Clauses with UK Addendum, and additional measures where needed.

8) Security

We apply layered measures including encryption in transit, access controls/MFA, network protections, logging/monitoring, backups, staff training, and incident response. No system is 100% secure; we notify regulators and affected users where required.​

9) Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary:

  • Account & profile: while active; 2 years after last activity, then delete or anonymise.

  • Contracts/invoices: 6 years (legal obligation).

  • Support tickets & comms: 2 years.

  • Analytics & logs: typically 12–24 months (shorter where feasible).

  • Marketing: until you opt out or consent is withdrawn.
    We may retain limited data to comply with law or resolve disputes.

 

​10) Your rights

You can access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port your data, and withdraw consent at any time (doesn’t affect prior processing). Contact info@valuedge.ai.​​

11) Children

ValuEdge.AI is not intended for under-18s. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

12) Legal structure & disclaimers (platform use)​

  • We facilitate information and analytics only. We do not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and we do not arrange or execute transactions.

  • Content may be user-provided; users are responsible for its accuracy and legality.

  • If your activities are regulated, you must ensure your own compliance.

  • Nothing here is a financial promotion or a recommendation.

13) Changes to this policy​

We may update this policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the platform, email, or banner, and update the “Last updated” date.​

Cookies are small files placed on your device to make the site work, keep it secure, remember preferences, and—if you consent—help us understand usage and improve the product. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and SDKs.

 

3) How we use cookies & legal basis (PECR/UK GDPR)

Strictly necessary cookies run on the legal basis of legitimate interests (to deliver the service you request).

Analytics, performance, functional (non-essential), and advertising cookies run only with your consent. You can give or withdraw consent at any time.

Consent banner: On first visit, choose Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage settings.

Change later: Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer to update your preferences at any time.

Browser controls: You can block/delete cookies in your browser settings.

Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to DNT signals; use the controls above instead.

D. Advertising / Retargeting  [NOT CURRENTLY USED]
- Status: We do not currently use advertising cookies. If this changes, we will request your consent and update this policy.

- Purpose: Measure/serve ads across sites
- Legal basis: Consent
- Typical duration: up to 13 months
